How would you folks who live in the coastal counties, cities and towns feel about changing the name of the sub forum, Coastal North Carolina to include Eastern North Carolina. It appears that every part of NC has a sub forum and Eastern has only a permanent Eastern NC thread. I have already made this request to several Moderators who advised I take it to Admin which I did. This proposed combined sub forum would include all counties, cities and towns south and east of Raleigh/Wake County and I believe it would be good for all eastern North Carolinians, be they coastal or inland.
Any thoughts on this...hopefully positive? Please, only those who actually live in the coastal counties need reply...Thanks you.
Eastern NC sounds okay with me. Probably the reason it is called coastal is because the majority of people are concerned with the OBX. Maybe Eastern NC and OBX would be better? Although that might be too long. Either way I'd be agreeable.
The eastern part of the state is known as the coastal plain, so maybe the sub-forum could have the same name.
Good idea...I never gave that term any thought. Now, I have to find a way to convince The Admin to do this since I have yet to hear from anyone in the Coastal area who objects to this.
