Hello. I'll be moving to Onslow County in the summer. I'm looking to buy, but I hear NC is full of homeowner associations. What's it like in Onlsow County? Will I still find nice housing that's not HOA-controlled?

There are plenty of homes in onslow county that dont have HOA dues...You should also look at western Carteret County as well...Jacksonville is around 100,000 people, the town has all the conviences that a large town has...outlying areas are rural...and the beaches are very close by...Carteret County offers more of the small town living...
