We are investigating whole house water treatment systems, and looking for other's experience. We primarily want to improve the taste of the tap water, and secondarily remove minerals that leave deposits on the fixtures. We live between Wilmington and Jacksonville, but are primarily looking for a vendor from Wilmington.
We do *not* want a reverse osmosis system, as it seems too complicated. We also do not want a company such as Culligan which locks you into replacing the salts every month. Suggestions?
