One of the few megasites in North Carolina that's shovel ready is continuing to attract significant interest.
That's according to Norris Tolson, CEO and president of Carolinas Gateway Partnership, a public-private organization that recruits industrial companies to Edgecombe County, Rocky Mount, Nashville and Tarboro.
Tolson and his office are aggressively marketing the Kingsboro CSX Select Megasite, which sits along U.S. Highway 64 where it intersects Kingsboro Road in Edgecombe County. The megasite is roughly 2,000 acres in size and sits between Rocky Mount and Tarboro.
