Glad I don't live in Carolina beach. I hate those things. They used to bring them into the soundside beach access area at Topsail Beach, right past all the little kids swimming. I was glad to note last summer that it was posted "no motorized boats or watercraft permitted."

i think carolina beach is the perfect place for a jet ski rental.

I'm good friends with one of the brothers. As uptight as some of the enviro crowd has gotten I was kind of surprised they got a permit to operate but considering that there are already 500 4x4's in Freeman Park on any given summer weekend it's probably a good business idea. I hope they do well.
