I just got back from a trip to SC and while I was there we visited Sunset Beach several times. After visiting I have a question now. Why are there NO seashells on Sunset Beach? As as I said I went several times, and each time I went the beach had no seashells on it. I thought maybe i'd go shelling there but there wasn't even broken up bits of shell on the beach, much less a shell. I find it funny because a hour to the south in Myrtle Beach there are shells all over the place along with all the usual broken up bits.
There are shells on Sunset. You maybe just hit at a bad time or were on the beach at the wrong time of day. I've brought back bunches of shells over the years, but pretty sure I didn't take them all.
