This was my first time to an estuary. When I saw this a tear came to my eye because it was so beautiful. As a NC native I finally understood the beauty that this state provides that newcomers see that I once took for granted.

this Indigo I dont think she enjoy the beach we didnt see any squirrels to chase.
Plus at her height she was at same level of the blowing sand
She hates taking a bath and when she heard the ocean crash for the first time she freaked
Her name comes from her one blue eye

Wonderful photos and neat to see some familiar scenes, even if it's a bit colder there now than when we usually visit, it's a lot warmer there than it is here now in NJ), sure makes me wish I was back there now (brrr!)
WOW. We cannot wait to get back to Nags Head, Hatteras, and Awful Arthurs.
Do we really have to wonder why we came?
