The spiders aren't so bad - part of the ecosystem here...most of them around my house have now disappeared - think the birds had a little feast....I kind of enjoy watching those spiders, you should see all the bugs they catch in their webs....saves on Halloween decor also!

Northwoods Voyager,
Those are some type of mushroom sprouting with morning dew on them. I snapped that picture a few months back in the woods by the Pamlico River.
And I hope I didn't give a false impression with my spider picture. It seems that some think there is a corelation between size and quanity. That spider is tiny-I shot it at extreme close up (macro). And yes-NC has spiders-But I can't say we have anymore or less than any other southern state. But I'm no expert.
