Greetings
I have my 2nd interview in Wilmington, NC next week and have 1 day to look around, sooo I am trying to narrow my search as much as possible via research and help on city data. In reading through the previosu threads it seems it is recommended to live south of the area. Wrightsville Beach has also been recommended. I would be working at Hanover Hospital. I would be looking to live in a nice apt for the first year. I do love the water, and nature yet would like to be close enough to ? to enjoy activities.... I do not want to drive more than 30 minutes to work. Any recommendations for cities, areas or specific apts would be most welcome. Thanks in advance for your your thoughts. Happy New Year to All
Welcome to Wilmington
I would look at the ones on south college after you cross Oleander , ones along independence south , or 17th street extension. There are also ones off shipyard near pine valley. On the road between the 2 gas stations but they are safe , no frills type with a mixture of young and retirees. If you have a question about specific ones just ask. I have 3 daughters in their 20's who have friends scattered all over.
