No other team in SEC is as reviled as the vols (or "viles" as some say)...
Ask any fan of Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, Vandy, Alabama...who do they dislike the most in the SEC....it's the little orange rocky-floppers and their drunk wife-beating fans.
This is not limited to SEC fans. Are you familiar with ut-Chattanooga? All their shirts, etc. simply say "Chattanooga" on them because they don't want to be indentified with the teams they simply (and in the most negative way possible) refer to as just "Knoxville."
we all know they are down... but every program has down years. They are still in the top 12 or 15 in wins in the history of college football. And they won a bcs title before. that's still relatively recent and more than 100+ other programs can say...
In addition, coming into this year they had gone to the second most bowls games... EVER. right behind Alabama. well not right behind. like 10 behind them. LOL.
How can people even pretend this is still somehow a "power" football program and not an also-ran? They almost went winless in the SEC. They got beat by a sub-.500 UK team that didn't have a single quaterback left to dress out.
Seems like a major rocky-FLOP if you look at the facts.
Tenn has a lot of talent, with Bray and Rrogers out that was a dagger

It was Hunter that went out... not Rogers. And I have to completely disagree with "a lot" of talent. They have a few good players. the rest of the guys are not top SEC talent.

Oh ok, thanks for the correction! Man Mizzou fans think they will have a easy path in the east, but the west is stronger and the ain't soft at all, it's going to be interesting to see how Mizzou adjust!

I think they will be the preseason #4 team behind Georgia, South Carolina, & Florida. But if they don't adjust they easily fall behind everyone except Kentucky... Lol
