Will be a sad day for college football.

Well, it’s basketball season for Tech fans, so I should get going.

Tech is always a trap game for Texas (OU knows something about that. lol)

We'll be heading out to our tailgate in a little while.

Absolutely disgusting to lose to a crap team like Tech who was using their 2nd string QB.

Sam lost that game, with a HUGE assist by the worst O-line in FBS.

Can just about count on one hand the number of Tech fans who expected the W last night, after seeing meltdowns against WVU and KSU, and almost getting blanked by TCU six days before. Gibbs’s defense may have played its best game since the 100-degree afternoon in Houston, and Kingsbury going with a 2-QB system for the first time since 2013 likely threw off UT’s D for enough time to allow a fresh Shimonek to take advantage.

To an outsider, Daniel Young looks like he could be a major headache to opponents in the future with a little OL improvement.

Snyder is an excellent coach, there is no doubt.

RB, what do you think happens to Kansas State once he officially retires for good?

I read he wants his son, Sean, to take over the helm. It was in the paper that Coach Bill Snyder nixed an incoming head coach prospect because he wants his son to take over.

I was a student at KSU in 1990 when Bill Snyder was first starting the rebuild at K-State. BTW, K-State had THE all time worst record in DI NCAA football when Snyder took the helm.

Kudos to TT for their win over Texas.

This is where the season gets fun when all the talking heads start trying to predict who will play who in the bowl games.

I am liking Baker Mayfield more and more with each game.

Default #11 Big XII Title for the Sooners...

OU does it again. Still more Big XII Titles than all the other conference teams combined. We'll see if they can carry the momentum into the Playoff and finish it off with a few more wins.

Here's the Big XII Celebration, good stuff: https://www.foxsports.com/southwest/video/1108412483996.

Somebody ought to draft that Arkansas cop who brought down Mayfield in 5 steps earlier this year.

Congratulations to the Land Thieves,

Congratulations to the Land Thieves,
And congratulations to you all in Austin for the Austin first native son to win the Heisman.

Also I'm looking forward to about 10 years from now when the typical Texas fan forgets that Mayfield came to OU unannounced and the narrative will be that OU "cheated" to get Mayfield. You know it's coming.

Makes me wonder happened at Texas Tech between him & Kingsbury?

But Mayfield isn't an Austin Native - he's from West Lake Hills, an incorporated 'burb on the rich side of town.
Austin is still 0 for 0.

On a side note: Mayfield is 2-2 in his four starts against Texas.
