Would it be nice for my college to get that much money? Sure. But at the time, college athletics weren't getting crazy money from tv contracts either. Decisions on conference came down to what was best for programs. It was prior to B10 Network success, which spawned all this madness.

All it is doing is costing cable owners more money in their bill for the same product.

Bobby chose to stick with the ACC so he could avoid competition. FSU deserves they situation they are in.

We were slotted for the SEC West. Had we been slotted for SEC East it might have been a different story...

Nice of you to admit it.

We are finally getting you out of denial, up until yesterday you were arguing it was a good decision.

You are right they didnt know how things will turn out, but they chose the ACC for the wrong reasons. They wanted an easier conference, and they got one. However, the conference was too weak. You are better off joining a strong conference and improving a program.

You have so little faith in your team?

FSU was really good at the time too. Had you joined you might not be one of the leaders like they are in the ACC, but they would be better off than they are now. The reason the SEC succeeded was competition. The best programs are built from playing hard teams.

At that time the SEC East was the tougher division. FSU would of competed for, probably win the SEC West for at least a few years.

What the hell are you people talking about?

FSU was never invited to the SEC.

Saying they were scared is bull****.

The SEC talked with FSU. They voted and declined to offer the Seminoles a spot.

I imagine Alabama and Florida didn't want FSU. I seriously doubt Georgia and Auburn wanted them either.

If anyone was "scared" it was the SEC being afraid to have FSU.
