I'd like to get feedback from fellow C-D posters on what you do, where you do it, how long you have been doing it, how you bill, etc. Also, what are your credentials? Are you also a teacher, slp, social worker, etc?

Hi! This reply won't help you but I am currently in a masters degree program in Applied Behavior Analysis. While I am in school I am working 1:1 with a child who has TBI, autism and severe epilepsy as a paraprofessional. It is not my ideal job choice right now but it is great experience for the future. Sometime after I am done with my degree I want to work in a clinical setting as a Behavior Analyst for people who have TBI and other disabilities. I saw a few job openings for this at the Mayo Clinic and I hope there will be more positions open like that in the future for me!

Drumchick, your response is helpful. Thank you. May I ask what state you are in? I ask because in New York it doesn't seem like there are opportunities for behavior analysts who are not already credentialed in another field. Also, is your grad program on-campus or online? How is your supervision done? Is the cost of supervision included in your tuition?

Bumping this thread because I have similar questions. I am considering various options for grad school, one of them being a Master's program in Special Education with a focus on autism and ABA. Or, other pathways to become a certified behavior analyst. I'd love to hear more from someone who knows, and I am specifically wondering how difficult the Master's programs are with regard to admittance, what sort of undergraduate degree is preferred, etc.
