Thinking of getting my Masters in History at Louisiana-Monroe. Being a brick & mortar school, does anyone know if their degree (diploma) specifies if you have taken it online or not? They have a GOLD program that houses all of their online programs and I just want to make sure that this does not set a distinction on diplomas/transcripts.

Thanks

Call or email the registrar or admissions/records office. Most schools give the same diploma for on campus and online students while some have set up separate schools for online programs and state the special name for that school on the diploma.

It will most likely be the same degree. It shouldn't make a difference whether you earned your degree online or not. Online education will definitely allow you to focus on work and other life issues without the stress of attending classes and a commute to school.
