I was registered to take one winter course online, and did a web drop on the 2nd, which was the last day to drop for a full refund. I logged on to my account today only to see that im still infact registered for the course and being billed for it. I absolutely selected webdrop option from the menu ON the 2nd, yet it either must not have gone through or isn't reflecting. I did a withdraw today as a final measure (which is reflecting...for now atleast) but that still would leave me with a W and no refund. I absolutely need the money back and I DID drop on the 2nd on the school's site. Who should I talk to about this? And is there a decent chance that they will cooperate with me?

Completing a web drop gets a confirming email. Show that to the registrar/bursar.

My school doesn't send out a confirmation email. I just tested it by dropping another class(just to see) and no conformation e-mail.

Perhaps you needed to drop in person. Many colleges have that requirement so close to the first day of
spring classes.

My school doesn't send out emails like that either.

To the OP, all you can do at this point is try or hope that it shows differently on their end. Try admissions & records or the registrar's office or whatever the equivalent is at your school.
