Same school or new school? If new school, probably fresh GPA, not too much to be transferred (if you did poorly), and you'll have to send your transcripts. If same school, your old grades will still appear, but depending on the circumstances, they may give you amnesty and give you a fresh start from a GPA point of view.

^^Ditto. But, OP, keep in mind that grad school programs and many jobs will require that you submit transcripts from any and all institutions you've attended. Thus, depending on where life takes you, it can be hard or impossible to get away from your prior record.
Colleges will require that any/all previous coursework be shown in an official transcript from the previous school. They will use this transcript to not only award you credit for some/all of those courses, but to create a degree plan at the prospective college/university (doesn't matter if the same college as before or a new one). You will enter with a GPA, which will depend on the grades you earned previously and how many of those courses are accepted by the new school.
Sometimes colleges don't ask you for transcripts from places you took a college class or two during high school. But they do ask for the rest. As far as job interviews, if they're going to ask for every transcript you can just walk away. Sometimes they ask for your undergrad (i.e., degree-granting institution) transcript. And it's stupid. They do it so they can pull it out in the interview and say "omg tell me why u got a C your first semester"
Depends I took some classes at a community college, they transferred to my university for credit, but no grades.
