What college? For what student?

You often ask very open ended questions. Are you trying to find the easiest or hardest for yourself?

If you're doing a study, this is a poor way to go about it.

Many students seem today seem to find "writing intensive" majors difficult. History, sociology, English literature, philosophy and political science are all "writing intensive".

Math courses are very easy for many students. No or little reading involved. However, when visiting colleges with my student, one well regarded LAC warned that research papers are required for math courses, and that anyone wishing to escape writing and research would do well to select another college.

When I was in college, it always seemed like the elementary education majors I knew had fairly reasonably "easy" classes as compared to the accounting, computer sci, engineering majors I knew.
I was an art major, sounds easy but it is very very time consuming, very expensive, and the art teachers are very demanding and sometimes unreasonably picky. People that would choose that as an easy major would be sadly mistaken.
