Community colleges are often cheaper and offer more majors that leads to actual jobs related to major upon graduation.

University cost more and offer more fluff majors. That's the difference between the two.

Depends on the student and what he or she needs.

Community college can provide the core courses, at a lower cost, for a four-year degree at a university.

But, the student has to make sure that the CC credits will transfer to the Uni.

In California, the CC to Cal State/UC system is one of the best deals in higher education.

honestly, it may suck...

but you should pretty much ALWAYS do the first 2 years at a community college unless you're applying for let's say Medical School..

For medical school they will look down on taking your chemistry's (Gen Chem 1 and 2 and Organic 1 and 2) if taken at a community college

Otherwise, it's just SOOOO much easier and cheaper to just do the 2 years (maybe less if you want b/c CC was EASY lol) and just transfer to a GOOD university with scholarship

For undergrad? Probably a private liberal arts college or small university.

Not a fan of community colleges or large research universities.

Or the so called "2-2 plan" Just go away to a good college or small university. My parents bought into the "2-2" plan. I regret not bringing at a normal college - or living in a dorm.

I have no friends from college. No networking.
