Hi- I am currently a molecular biology major, with a neuroscience minor. I am extremely interested in continuing my studies in the Genetics/Biology field - Biopsychology - how biology/environment/psychology interact in human behavior etc. But I'm not aware of what "solid" careers there are out there for, lets say, someone who achieves only a Masters in this. Aside from being a lab rat, or a teacher. I'm considering going to PA school, since that offers a soild career after graduation. But I'm afraid I'll be sacrificing my interest area just to practice everyday medicine and make a paycheck - I don't believe Geneticists or Neuroscientists need a PA -
I do know that going for a PhD would open more doors - but would those doors only be open in labs?
Anyone have a career in this field and can offer some insight to what its like? What options are out there?
Thanks!!!!
