What will happen to me? I currently going to school at a cc, I got an A in 3/4 classes. and in the 4th, I got an F. I am going to try to transfer to UTEP for next fall. I am going to complete another semester out here before I transfer there, hopefully with a better GPA. Eventually I want to try to transfer to UT Austin and am using UTEP as a 'steppin-stone' Any ideas on what will happen?

I would go to a community college and build up the GPA. That way when they see that you received all F's the first year and look at your community college transcript, they'll see that you have improved. It would be cheaper anyways.

I have a question...if you have an f on your college transcript and a b then transfer to a CC and transfer your grades, will they put your f on your new record or just the b or both?

I'm in a very similar situation. I went to university for a year and decided I wanted to transfer and got poor but passing grades and received credits. I am currently going back to the same university for a semester to try and get my gpa up so I can transfer to another school, or stay if I decide to just stick with it.
