I'm considering getting a graduate degree in public policy at Pitt through their GSPIA program. I just went to an info session about it today.

I'm wondering how hard it is to get into the GSPIA program?

Also, wondering how hard it will be to get into the program for a previously stay-at-home Mom?

Also, wondering how hard it will be to get into the program since I am an older applicant (50+)?

My interest is in climate change policy, etc., so GSPIA looks like my best bet -- but I'm more than willing to listen to possible alternatives.

I've also been looking into the GSPIA program at Pitt but am more interested in studying economic policy of emerging markets from an international business perspective. I like the Global Political Economy concentration but was wondering if anyone had any input/comments/opinions on the program. Im also a much older applicant (from the typical applicant) and also a CPA.
