It's been such a bad year and this is not how I needed this year to start. I had the hitch locked and all. I hate scumbags so much. It's insured but I will definitely lose.

Sorry to hear. I don't know what the market is for stolen travel trailers. Do they register it under another VIN, send it to Mexico, part it out, scrap it? I would keep an eye on craigslist, and post pics with year make and model. Maybe any distinguishing features.

I'll post a pic later. It is a Scamp trailer. They are heavily sought after and hard to find. It's also distinctive because it is lifted in height. Had a light blue cover on it. No telling if it's still on it.

A pure hunch on my part, but I'd suspect this trailer will show up on someone's plot of land out in the great beyond, maybe in the SLV or out on the plains, someone living off grid who'll use it as long as he can....

Yes, keep an eye on Craigslist, and also on ebay for "local pickup only". Set up a search and preference to be notified of any listing that meets that search ... you never know.
