First, I would like to apologize to Small and large Businesses there employees. Government agencies, the Army (Ft. Carson Specifically), as well as my friends and family, and the entire colorado springs community. I have made many poor choices. Ive lied, ive cheated, ive caused alot of damage in so many ways, to alot of people. Ive done things so morally wrong, that ill probably never be able to correct them. Or let the guilt of said regrets not hinder me for the rest of my life. Ive costed people alot of money and delayed their lives and projects. Just so i could go on with my immature way of thinking. I honestly had no intention to cause so many to suffer because of my actions. It just happened that way. For that i am deeply sorry! I know that my words dont carry much validity without action unfortunately. For now its a start in the right direction. this apology is something thats long overdue and again i apologize. I was desperately trying to find the way to correct my mistakes, i just couldnt seem to get a direct answer from anyone as to how to fix it.
With that said ive been deeply humbled, and humiliated by my childish actions! I feel as if ill never be able to live down my awful reputation in the communtiy... and rightfully so i deserve it. Id just like everyone to know i regret my stupid choices and feel remorseful for the problems i may have caused.
Finally id just like to express my gratitude to My entire community, the city of Colorado Springs, Businesses, The Army, Any families, as well as my own, affected by my stupid choices. And to thank everyone for even allowing me to still be in this community. Thanks to all the real Truck Drivers, Equipment operators, and construction companies at large that build Our state. Sorry I failed in so many ways.

I have no idea what transpired which caused you to write this letter of blanket apology. It's pretty easy to make apologies, but far more difficult to make actual amends for the things that you have done . If you truly want to make amends for your actions which directly caused pain (whether physical or mental) to your fellow human beings, then a blanket apology which most will never see, simply doesn't cut it.

For example, if you took out a loan in bad faith, never intending to repay it, you need to go to that person who fronted you the money and offer to repay that loan - even if it's only a small amount each month - then make sure you follow through on your promise THIS TIME.

For some reason, you strike me as an alcoholic. If you are, have you started attending AA meetings to help you turn your life back on track? If your problem is something different, have you sought out counseling?

Talk is cheap, making actual changes in the way you deal with others can be incredibly hard. Good luck.

thanks for the insight. I now realize after your response that it is a blanket apology. However i didnt realize that, untill you pointed it out. i realise there isnt going to be a quick easy fix. i just wanted to put it out there that im not just living a happy go lucky y life without remorse. Its with me every second of every day. I realize that i must make amends to people/businesses/community etc individually. But how does one do so when hes not even sure the full extent of damage and or financial losses he may have caused?

You might have more replies if you post your questions in the psychology or non romantic relationships forums. This is the Colorado forum, and the people here are most interested in what Colorado town or city to live in; what's a good neighborhood in Colorado Springs, etc. Perhaps a mod will come along and move this thread for you.
