Well it's easy to wish it were a non issue, but in this country it absolutely is a major issue. Some people are able to ignore it, others are affected daily.

If so, that's shocking, twice as many hispanics as blacks? And take into account that doesn't count every hispanic, I can't believe there are so few blacks in the springs! Or are people just not filling out their census papers?
I guess you are in Colorado Springs...and seeing a lot more than what is accounted for???

In general though, Colorado and black populations are exactly a connection most people put together. I tend to think white, hispanic, even american indian before blacks...in Colorado.

I'd actually would have assumed hispanic was a lot more...being Colorado isn't all that far from New Mexico...plus the Colorado/Texas connection is always there as well.
