Flow and volume is high. Don't see fly fishermen out. Wonder how soon it will peak. The res isn't as high as it was in early spring/late winter, but it's still so high that parking around it is limited.

Cool small towns: Texas Creek, Swissvale, Cotopaxi, Coaldale, and my favorite town of (drum roll please) Howard! yay!!

Was down in the Royal Gorge last week, water is high and moving fast, spring melt. There were a number of rafting parties on the river.

Given the speed and flow of the river, estimated at 5000 cu.ft./second, I'd bet HH will have to wait a while to call up the fish.
