Have fun and good luck on your job hunt! I envy you, I had to move back to SoCal five years ago, and I miss Colorado so much!

well now i am leaving wed morning. i brought my car in for a tune up last wednesday fully expecting it to be ready by friday, in plenty of time to get it back and leave today but life and God both hate me so i am 48 hrs behind schedule and will have to drive as fast as helll to get out there. i do not get my car back until late tue or early wed because the crankshaft was the original and had over 94000 miles on it since my car is a hyundai tiburon the parts had to be specially ordered. jobs? anything i can get that gives me 40 hours or more a week and at least 1000 a month, i am visiting several people in response to an add i placed in the canyon courier about an affordable place to stay. i guess i'd like to work at a wallmart ot grocery store. i just graduated HS and wont be starting red rocks for a year until i become a resident. i have been working fulltime at a pretzel place in a mall here in lexington since the end of my sophmore yr in highschool. i am a hard worker if anyone has any job offers just let me know

Wow-- so you've decided on moving after all? Or do you think you still might just do it as an exploratory trip? Even if you are going to move here now, you should still spend a week exploring different cities and towns in the Front Range and in the mountains before you commit to signing any leases. Check out Colorado Springs, too-- it's more scenic than Denver, higher elevation, and more affordable. And still plenty of the types of jobs you would be looking for. It's one thing to read about places on paper (or on the internet), another thing to see it in person. In any case, take it easy getting to CO-- don't speed, please!!!
