And of course there are many more out there.
Always fun to see my old stomping grounds again.

Default San Luis Valley

San Luis Valley taken near our campsite at Alvarado campground near Westcliffe. It sits 9,000 ft. above the valley floor so it commands a beautiful view of the valley and the sky at night. One night we witnessed odd moving lights over the valley that we couldn't identify. Spooked my niece so much that she moved her sleeping bag from her tent to mine. Not the best photo, but what a view.

That's the Wet Mountain Valley. The SLV is actually on the other side of the range. Pretty view, though!

I knew that ... I was just testing everybody. I have photos of the San Luis Valley too, and always getting them mixed up. But yeah, both beautiful. I'll ask MFBE if it can be edited.

Nice. I love shots of a long open road like that.

It would fun to post our Colorado road trip photos that show off our wide open spaces.

This is near my backyard in Pueblo Lake showing my childhood stomping grounds, Greenhorn Mountain in the background...

Then me (green helmet) and friends playing in that Arkansas River feeding that lake, years ago.
