hello, this is for the teachers out there or anyone with some good information. I know there are a lot of threads on teaching in the ft collins
area, but I need some new updated information.
My husband has 6 years of teaching experience, is certified here in fl to teach anything from elementary thru High School. He taught High School 3yrs and Middle School 3years. He is currently a Dean now, he has his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. I keep hearing that teaching jobs are competitive in Colorado. We have been to Ft Collins/Loveland area 3x and fell in love. We have also considered Castle Rock. Do outside
people get hired? Would he have to become a teacher first before moving
into say an Assistant Principals position? That is what he is looking to become. We want to relocate from Fl. to Ft Collins area, but want to have secured jobs first. We are planning a trip out next March. Is most of the hiring done in the spring time for the next school year? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am newer to this forum thing and cant find everything lol. Please help us escape Fl Oh , and he is 40 so he isnt a young inexperienced in life person

There is a Fort Collins forum. Try that one. You are more likely to get a response there.
