This past week or so, I've seen about half a dozen bulldozers tearing up the field just north of the Kaiser clinic near Town Center. Anyone know what's going on there? It's kind of a sad sight. Are they putting in more shops?

It is going to be a Super Target. Many neighbors are in an uproar. I'm worried about traffic (I live in the adjacent neighborhood). I wouldn't call it sad or unexpected. it has been zoned for commercial development since 1979.

Default Highlands Ranch Target

Just a note, the new Highlands Ranch Super Target at Town Center on Lucent is horrible. It smells like vomit as you walk in like they've never cleaned the floor, the checkout people are completely rude and I walked by some stockers in one of the BABY aisles and they were laughing about how soon they could take a smoke break. Pretty bad. I recommend making the drive to any other Target, or, better yet, shop at an independent store that actually values its customers.

I was going to comment about the effect this is having on local residents...and then thought better of it as it seems to speak for itself.
