accufitgolf, thats honestly the best way if you want semi-moving traffic. There's the other back way from Piney Grove rd. where you turn at the gas station and that cemetary I believe, right near the I-26 interchange. But even then, that leads right up to a busy Bower Parkway and dont even think about using it if its the weekend or during the holiday season.

Where is that thread where people were yapping that Greenville and Charleston get retailers before Columbia?

Oh, but of course the ones Columbia gets first aren't as good as the ones the other two get first. And Columbia is in the desert.

Default HomeGoods Opening

Spoke to the Manager at the HomeGoods at Sandhill. The Harbison location for HomeGoods will be opening in mid-June 2013. The development where the former Hudson's, Staples, and Consignment One are located will be demolished for a new shopping center. The manager at Consignment One told me that last week. That particular store is negotiating to purchase the former Floor It Now location on Broad River Road, across from Lucky's.

while i'd love to see an Academy go in on this side of town, i can only imagine how much worse traffic will be on that small stretch of road.... it can already be nasty let alone plop in another big store
