we hit the zoo yesterday (been members each year we've lived down here); this is about the perfect weather to visit especially to see the Gardens in full bloom, and it's not too hot so the animals are out and about as well. And each time we take someone with us for their first visit, they always enjoy themselves

Construction on the major improvements should start soon and take about three years to complete.

It'd be nice if they could link Botanical Parkway to Greystone Boulevard. It could alleviate parking & traffic to/from the zoo and also create a non-interstate connection to West Columbia.

shhhhhh, parking up by the gardens can at times be much easier then the main lot, so we dont want too many peeps to know that option exists.

Seriously, while the attendance has spiked in recent years, i'd have to assume that it's had it's share of issues in the past as well. Was there ever any plans brought up before to tackle it? Just curious.
