We were looking for something different to try and a friend raved about this place last week. We went for Sunday lunch. No wait, waitress was really nice. The trio dip was good. The pulled pork sandwich and cheese penne were not. A little disappointed. Did we just order the wrong thing? Are they better known for something else?

I've never been disappointed with their pimento cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. That's why I go there a couple of times a year. Maybe it was a bad night, or maybe I would like what you got.

I haven't been in a while but I've never been disapointed. Hard to tell if it was isolated or maybe it's going downhill. It's been there a long time and I have never heard anything bad about it.

its a "fancy" looking place but they best thing there is their burgers and that's what they are known for and I remember it being good but never got a chance to go back. My fiance got a seafood type dish that she liked, can not remember what it was.

Ok. Maybe it was an off day. Will go back sometime and try a burger instead.

We've probably been to Harpers about twenty in the last 7 or 8 years. Never had a problem with any of the food or service. I usually get a salmon something and better half always gets a steak. Always yummy and reasonably priced.

I'll second the sweet potato fries!

I had a steak at Harper's a few months ok. I thought the meal was way overpriced and not any better than a chain restaurant. I guess they charge you more b/c of the 5 points location. It has a decent atmosphere and some good looking college women working there.

Harper's is a chain based out of Charlotte. They also have 2 or 3 other restaurant brands as well. Forget the names.

Not a big fan. Seems overpriced for a place where the best thing they serve are their burgers.
