We live in Raleigh, originally from Denver. Just to give you a little background. We don't like being in the country, but also don't like being right up on our neighbors with little to no yard. Priorities are: good elementary schools, walking distance or max of 5 min drive to shopping (Target, groc store, coffee shops), close to interstate for husbands commute which will be SE Columbia.

We drove down and stayed for a couple of days and I looked all over, Lake Carolina, Irmo, Lexington. I'm just still not sure where to live!!

Recs on subdivisions and communities would be great! 3-4 bedroom, 1800+ (ideally over 2000) sq ft.

Thanks!!

We just moved here from Raleigh in June and live in Lake Carolina. We like it, but it does take ten minutes driving to get to shopping which for us is at Village at Sandhills. Did you see that?
