What I like about SC is that each city is very different (with their own unique pluses and minuses) and all within easy reach of each other. You've got beautiful historic Charleston with the surrounding coastal towns; Serene beaches of HHI; Greenville up towards the mountains; Columbia in the midlands with nice lakes; islands galore; the Redneck Riviera of Myrtle Beach (ugh).
Southern belly - rosewood
Hudson - Lexington
Farm boys - chapin.

Ive been to southern belly and it's great. Have heard great things of the other two.

Also, attest to the fact that Southern Belly is fantastic! At Hudson's, order off the menu. This helps since you don't like buffets anyways.

Shealys in Batesburg-Leesville is also pretty good.

I forgot to add one underappreciated law that applies to most southern States - you aren't required to have a front license plate. This may sound inconsequential to most, but if you are a car guy and a perfectionist, this is a great law. Unfortunately most people don't appreciate an uncluttered, understated look so they destroy the front end of their car with some goofy personalized plate to match their 20 bumper stickers and RIMZ.

RIMZ- Lol

Yeah, I've always liked that we don't need a license plate on the front of our cars, too.

I saw one community by a high shcool and the traffic wa supposed to be bad but once you see the traffic in NYC you can't call that traffic but the homes were on top of each other. I love fortress builders but do not know about all the areas. Some honest apprasial wuld be nice. I don't have young children so I do not worry about that.

I live in Lexington and I sent you some info on a house that is two doors down from me and it is a two story and this is a nice neighborhood for the most part very quiet and you would only have woods behind you which we enjoy very much . the birds and squirrels are plentiful but most folks around here feed them so them don't destroy anything and don't both anyone .I sent you a direct msg .
