What happened to things such as Kline City Center? The Edge? Bullstreet? What are the new starting dates? Will any of them not get built or are they just on pause for other projects like Sola Station and the likes? I just want some answers. I think the city can support all those things, we just need our leaders to step up. But info on these would be greatly appreciated.

The Edge is waiting for the market to absorb the new developments and should start sometime early-mid next year last I heard. Bullstreet well...the new town houses And the senior living facility are underway, along with the the park(Greenville developer). And Kline...well another Greenville developer, it got down scaled so I don’t know what they’re waiting for.

The Kline developer demanded a public garage, which is basically a money grab by the developer. Considering that the economics seemed to work before, I assume this means the market has either not developed or price per square foot is not as high as he originally projected. I wouldn't expect anything further from Kline. There may be another version in a few years when there is more unsatisfied demand for housing.
Also, does anyone know what the huge surprise at the mall is going to be. I think it’s at 0 vacant now and nothing huge came? Or is another store about to shut down for it? Anyone got special insight? I feel we’ll be getting an H&M hopefully since Magnolia Mall in Florence got one.

I’ve heard from people who work at Columbiana that H&M is coming. I don’t know what else is part of the “big surprise,” but I feel like it has to include something more than just H&M.
Where will it go, though? Part of me thinks there will be some construction to include H&M plus other new stores because, one, the GGP-owned Augusta Mall has expanded and, two, there doesn’t seem to be enough vacant space at Columbiana to accommodate an H&M without expansion. I’m more than like wrong, but it sure would be nice.

I agree. Especially those unused parking lots near Five Guys and Columbiana Drive.

Also don’t forget though, there was suppose to be a fifth anchor that they never built. That they made sure if they wanted to add it they could.
