Years ago when buying a property the neighbor had two cars but a single lane drive. To keep from having to make a u-turn in the back yard, they parked a car head first on the corner of the property. They parked so close to the house (so that there was room for their other car to pass by) that when I tried to squeeze my human body through their front bumper and the house I couldn't it was too close. As it turned out there was a some state law about infringement and if done long enough the infringer owns that small piece of land. Fast forward to today and someone has been driving into their drive and due to a sharp curve and oncoming traffic they turn in front of their house and then exit our driveway. which is helping erode our driveway. These fools already have a semi circle turn in their front yard for easy in and out but fail to use it.
So maybe a nice letter to cease and desist. Maybe a lawsuit for back rent. Put up a couple poles in concrete. Maybe other remedies. I like the lawsuit myself. What are all the options and ins and outs? Thanks.

They have a straight driveway (number one) like most people. They have a nice number two driveway to get in and out smoothly so they can be headed out front first into the street when traffic is present. Now they are creating driveway number three. This is decreasing the life span of the grass, the gravel drive and the asphalt part of the driveway. They are mid sixties age and a simple please don't do that may easily be enough. I'm not sure how many actual cars they have. They might be using driveway numbers two and three so they can easily get in and out with both cars. A six inch pipe in the ground and filled with concrete is one option. Or some sort of rinky dink fence. I'm being told by windows or google that I have "rinky" spelled wrong.
