Columbus is a nice enough city.The improvements to downtown as of late are welcome advances to what has created a quaint downtown.However.........LOL.......Umm........NO.N ice to dream though.lol

some told me that there was a building code that buildings cannot be built more than 5 stories high is that true because it sure seems that way in the recent 3 decades

thats too much, i like skyline bt not too much of it. augusta, all they need is just some 20 somthin story buildings 3 of them and they will be fine, same for columbus. savannah just 2 more 17 story buildings, and macon is gonna be like atl because they are right on 75 so they will get all the money

Not in 1000 years will Macon or any other city in GA be like Atlanta.

This kind of thing makes me laugh. Agreed. Add every city in Georgia including the metro area and multiply it by 2 and they still would not equal Atlanta's over 5,000,000 metro population. Atlanta is the 10th largest metropolitan area in North America.

Not like Atlanta, but a little on point, Macon can be in the skyline range by height but never size or Metro. but they can become popular because they are EXACTLY on I-75.

30-40 years ago no one ever thought Atlanta would be the city it is now either; but now it drawfs some of the US great cities of past.....
