I think they were rebuilding it. I was actually going by there to get a burger a week or two ago a saw it mostly torn down. Last weekend it looks like it was going back up. I've seen that happen with a few McDonald's when they want to remodel it they just tear it down and rebuild it so I'm assuming were doing the same thing with this BK.

Ok.. The bk sign is still up there so I guess it is still going to be a bk. I wonder what the employees are doing in the mean time

Yes, as McDonald's wraps up their remodeling projects... Burger King is starting to remodel their restaurants. They have one remodeled store on Miller Road, it will look much like that one.

Wendy's is doing the same thing at several locations.

I just hope they keep the outdoor fenced in playground. My son loves going there and we don't have to worry about chasing him since it is fenced in.

They moved the playground inside at the one on Miller Rd, I believe. They'll probably keep this one outside, but they do have an indoor one at McDonalds!

Wendy's completed their remodels but they only remodeled the outsides - must of been the minimum required by corporate. The ones in Atlanta they almost or did complete tear down and start over like McDonalds did on some here.

the Wendy's in Lagrange and Valley, AL (probably many more) were complete inside out remodels

Looks like they aren't adding to the structure of the building to have an indoor playground. Keeping my fingers crossed it stays this way!

That was probably the only old model burger king Columbus had.
