I assume that is the CB&T parking garage? This building isn't there anymore is it?

My guess is mid-60's...probably 1966. If you wish to see many early vintage pictures of Columbus, I HIGHLY recommend getting a copy, or maybe checking it out at the Columbus library: "Columbus, Georgia in Vintage Postcards," by Kenneth H. That stretch of 1st avenue looked pretty much exactly like that until th 1990s. Kirven's downtown closed in 1987.

The parking garage next-door used to be a city garage. They were losing so much money on it in the 1980s that CB&T purchased it for employee use.
