I'm looking to return from northern California to Ohio. What hospitals are hiring in the Columbus area? I'm originally from the Dayton area but I don't want to return there.

Try ohiohealth.com(Grant, Riverside, Dr's West), or jobs at osu medical center(can't remember the actual website), or check out Mount Carmel Hospitals,(Mt Carmel East/West and St. Anns).

I'm pretty sure OSU is always hiring. Mt Caramel is pretty competitive, not sure if they are actually hiring right now. There's also Nationwide Children's, who seems to always be hiring!

Depends on how much experience you have. I think just about all of the hospitals in central Ohio have a hiring freeze on RNs with less than 2 years experience. I put in about 300-400 applications to hospitals all over Ohio and didn't even get one call. I only have 4 months experience in Home Health and I'm relocating to Florida to get a hospital job.
