Actually, that was called sarcasm! No double-talk in that post. However, Ohio has apartments available for several hundred per month...try finding affordable housing in NYC.

Please, do share where you believe the underprivileged should live so that they may enjoy "good" treatment. We've established it's not Columbus, nor is it NYC. So, where?

Default Better places than columbus for low-income people

There are many, but I will only recommend one where I know one would receive better treatment there as a working class person than here and also be going to a fairly stable job market, and that would be Lexington, Kentucky...the people are a lot more kind and emotionally stable there generally speaking than they are here.

Why don't you go to the Lexington, KY forum and find information about the in and out's of your new city?

That was my original intent when I signed on last month - to learn things about Columbus (and Ohio) from insiders...

Well, I guess you really do learn something new every day. Lexington is a beautiful city, and I hope you enjoy it. A close friend attended The University of Kentucky for graduate school and gave me the impression the major career opportunities for those without a college education involved "hillbilly heroin" distribution and collecting a check on the first of the month. But, like I said, you learn something new every day. Kudos to you for proving your point.

Those people there are more racially mean too... Sorry to say that but I live close to Kentucky and I have been near it all my life and it's not a place you want to be if you aren't or don't have that ole' southern boy mind set already.
