I have to head to Columbus in about 3 weeks for business and I'm wondering how the city is. Any advice on good restaurants/bars would be great. I'm going to be staying in downtown Columbus and I've never been before so I'm curious how the city is.

hey ronnie... i pretty much asked the same question.... Streetcreed gave me some pretty nice info on the subject... follow the above link to my post and you can read what was given to me. I also did some other research myself and found this site Columbus Nightlife Tips by jennwerner - VirtualTourist.com it has some other outtakes on the potential "pub crawls" if you will. Later, Keg

Hi Keg,

Thanks for the feedback. I'll only be there for about 5 days but it's enough time to check out some cool bars and restaurants.

HAHA!! Will do. I can't see Columbus being a great time but I may be wrong. I'll make sure I give you some feedback and warn them you're coming so they can start preparing.

If you're staying downtown, both the Arena District and Brewery District are nearby. The Arena District sits at the northern edge of downtown (see the link Traveler87 provided above), while the Brewery District is just south of downtown along High St, Front St, and adjoining streets.

Lots of stuff to do after dark in both these areas!
