Hey everyone,

Looking for areas as rural as can be closest to the city, yet still having access to HS internet (cable preferred). I guess I would favor being north of the city rather than south, in order to be closer to lake Erie, but would appreciate tips for all areas. It's just me, no worries about schools for children, or concerns for work (retired).

I'd really like to find an area where I could have a backyard pistol range, but I imagine that might put me way out without any good ISP services? I want an area that is quiet, low traffic, a peaceful place to come home to, w/o close neighbors would be ideal. I know this post may seem a bit nebulous, but it's kinda hard to exactly describe what I'm looking for. Thanks for the help.

I know the farms and other properties with enough land for a pistol range to the east of Buckeye Lake got their first non-satellite high-speed internet in 2017. I'm not sure about places in other directions of Columbus.
