Never been, from what I hear the smaller cities outside of Chicagoland in IL are pretty good. I'd expect Peoria to be at the top of those.

No one's hating on Peoria, only mocking your ridiculous comparison.

Really?? 74 is literally a highway trench with blank walls going through the downtown.

Outside of downtown, it's just a typical highway otherwise. I must be missing something if a highway of all things is considered to be the jewel of Peoria.

Perhaps what fooled me was driving through there at night. What I saw was design work on the concrete and Stone decorating the overpasses. All I know is that it looked good enough at night driving through there to make an impression.

I love Cincinnati Reds Baseball, but characterizing any Reds team as being dominant or feared in the past 30 years is being pretty generous. It’s very odd for me to think that there is an entire generation of Cincinnatians who have never seen the Reds win a playoff series….I think the last time was in 1995 against LA. I adore my Reds but they are a sad sack of a team.

The Reds won 6 division titles from 1970-1979 including 4 pennants and 2 WS wins. Its widely considered on of the best teams ever.

Totally. Yes. No Doubt. I grew up in that era. Since then, 1 World Championship and beyond that title in 1990, they’ve won only 1 post season playoff series. They have sucked for more than 30 years. I still love them.

I get out plenty, which is how I know you're not a serious person making those kinds of statements.
