My child's laptop computer is only about a year old. When she tries to get on the internet (Internet Explorer), the internet starts to open then immediately closes. I've tried shutting the computer completely, I've done Task Manager, I've tried opening it other ways, but it won't stay open.
I tried calling Microsoft but they said since the hardware was installed by the manufacturer, I would have to call them. I called Toshiba and they said I'm 2 months out of warranty and would have to pay for any help or troubleshooting. I called Geek Squad and they would charge a minimum of $200 to check it out. If it has to be sent out, it would cost more. If they have to add software, it would cost more. For that price, I can get her a new one!
I don't want to ditch this computer just because of this. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do?
LOL!! You got that right!!!! The people here are the BEST!
