I've had trouble with my new computer. It wa built for me at a local store. Aside from off and on wifi connection to the Internet, I'm very happy with it.
My thinking is that I need a better wifi card. I don't trust the guys at stores, so I thought I'd get your opinion. I don't care what it costs.
BTW, I'm already using a little nano booster as an antenna.
Also, My wife's computer is doing very well -- it's one of those HP All-in-one computers where the monitor and puter are all one unit. There's one wall separating her computer, and it's roughly 30 feet from the source.
My computer, when it's connected, usually works well, even if both doors are closed.
This is netgear. BTW, I did do a bit of Googling. Saw a gadget that you plug in to an outlet one one end and into an outlet to the other puter. Sounded cool to me.
