I've been having a problem with my facebook account now for almost two weeks. I thought it would come back up to normal, but it never did. I will try to explain what is happening.
When I log on. I have to scroll down a bit as there is nothing there but white screen, going down a little, I see posts from hours ago on the news feed. I can not get into the most recent news feed section. Also posts are all the way across the screen, continuing off of the actual page.
I can not reply to any of the posts either as the reply part does not show on screen.
I also can not get into the help section. It does nothing.I type in problemin the help section, and click help, and nothing.
I tried editing my privacy section thinking I was blocking something, and I could not access that either.
I have cleared cache and deleted browsing history. I am not a computer person at all. I am lucky to be able to turn it on and log on and off. Someone told me about the deleting and clearing cache, and it took me forever to figure that out.
I don't think there is anything wrong with my computer, as everything else is working unless I hit something I was'nt supposed to.Can someone give me some suggestions. Thank you.

My suggestion is to start by trying to access your facebook from another computer. A friend's or family member's computer. This will isolate whether it is indeed a problem on your computer or with your account.

Since you indicated that you don't know your way around computers too well, this is all that I'm going to suggest for now. Once we hear back, we'll be able to tell you where to go from there.

Either try another computer or try a different web browser, here's some alternatives to Internet Explorer:

Firefox: Firefox Browser | Free ways to customize your Internet
Opera: Opera browser | Faster & safer internet | Free download
Safari: Apple - Safari - Browse the web in smarter, more powerful ways.

Just tried a different browser, Google Chrome and it works, I was using AOL. Is there anyway to figure out what is wrong with the AOL window? Thanks
