Connect Netflix on laptop to older tv (hd, wifi, wireless)

I have Netflix on my laptop and want to play it on Sony Bravia KDL32S2010. The tv only has one HDMI port (in use). I don't have a gaming console or blu-ray player, but do have a Direct TV HD receiver/DVR. Do have wireless internet. Any help, please

What other inputs does the TV have? Roku makes some boxes that will connect to TVs without an HDMI port. Or you could get an HDMI switch which would let you connect multiple HDMI sources to a TV with one HDMI input. I just got a Roku3 and love it. Its a lot easier than messing with connecting a PC to the TV. If you want BluRay capability too, pretty much all new players have Netflix built in. I recommend using a wired Ethernet connection to the device instead of wifi if at all possible.

I just looked at the specs on the TV. It has a VGA input and analog audio inputs. What outputs does the laptop have? If you have VGA, you could run a VGA cable and separate audio to the TV. Kludgy but it will work. I still strongly recommend a simpler solution like Roku or a BluRay player with Netflix.

Per page 34, if you have an older laptop with a VGA connector then you would need to get a VGA cable to connect it to the TV. If you have a newer laptop that has HDMI and no VGA then you can purchase a switch/splitter to connect multiple items to the TV.
