I'm looking for a video editor (web-based or software) that meets the following criteria:
> for use on a PC computer (I have a Dell)
> able to use video taken on my iPhone (Windows Movie Maker will not import .mov files from iPhone)
> VERY easy/user-friendly/intuitive
> free (preferably)
BTW - the purpose of this video editor would be to create a video compilation, set to music, from video clips and photos taken on an iPhone.
Unfortunately, it will not be easy to find a free editing software for what you need. There are free ones, but they aren't very easy or they dont have many features. If you are an experienced editor, I would choose Adobe Premiere Elements or Adobe After Affects. However, like you said, an easy editor would be Sony Vegas. Adobe is meant for more advanced editing and animations while Sony is targeted for animations that are easier. In the end, they both get the job done.
