Default Windows Vista and XP

I just downgraded to XP from Vista. My computer is awesome now. Being that it has 2 GB of ram and an AMD Turion X2, XP runs extremely fast. If you are having problems with Vista, downgrade back to XP and wait a while before you upgrade to Vista. Let Vista work out it's glitches.

Just a suggestion.

Work out XP's glitches too! She sure has plenty of em, but had tonnes more before she was released. Vista is 100 times better now that what she was 6 months ago, plug n play is working better. I am "happy" with her. I have Ultimate on two machines.

In your case that would be an upgrade, wouldn't it?

Vista is not for all computers.

I installed vista on one of my computers at work for testing. I had to decide if I was going to deploy it on a wide scale or not. After a month I decided against it. Vista is absolutely horrible. I would go with all MACs if I could.

I like Vista. Since I no longer have a desktop I'm stuck on my notebook with XP, with Vista as soon as the desktop loaded I could click Firefox and it would open, XP I do that, and I have to wait, and wait, and wait, in some areas I like XP in others I like Vista. I actually prefer Vista to XP on my desktop. My notebook, it's fine I guess lol.
